Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes across Ontario. You’ll help clients stay safe and independent, with daily living activities and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about helping others.
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients.

• A valid driver’s license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance
• To protect our clients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, a clear background check

Responsibilities

• Have conversations with clients to build relationships.
• Participate in clients’ hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.).
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist clients with walking, dressing, and daily activities of living.
• Report activities and provide updates on clients' condition and behavior

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
