Job summary

A senior care service provider in Drayton Valley seeks Care Pros to assist seniors with daily living activities and companionship. Home Instead provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion. We care for our Care Pros as much as we care for our clients. We have a variety of shifts available from 3 hour to 12 hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation.
• Personal care.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Medication administration after delegation and supervision by nurse.
• Transferring the patient using transfer belts and appropriate assistive devices.
• Alzheimer’s Care.
• Dementia care and their management.
• Transportation to clients for appointments, shopping and errands.
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner.
