RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Part-Time Position!Responsibilities:- Build meaningful relationships with a specified number of seniors and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and understanding their unique preferences and personalities.
- Notify management of changes in condition and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service.
- Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their individual profiles.
- Incorporate a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident's day.
- Participate in the development of the Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and monthly updates.
- Responsible for their designated group of residents during the shift, knowing their whereabouts and checking on them throughout.
- Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs and policies, including adherence to safety rules and regulations.
- Respond to residents' dining needs while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- Invite, Encourage, Assist (IEA) residents in life skills and other activities as indicated on ISP and demographic profile.
- Commit to serving residents and guests through our Principles of Service.
Qualifications:- Dedication and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment.
- High School diploma/GED accepted; additional certifications may be required per state regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make decisions and act in the resident’s best interest.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
