This 18-month fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity for professional engineers seeking to re-enter the workforce or transition to a new career phase, with a flexible schedule of approximately 24 hours per week (up to 30-40 hours acceptable). The role focuses on natural gas operations and process plant systems, supporting work-life balance and diversity.

What You Will Do
  • Support field operations and personnel by providing technical assistance to adhere to applicable codes, processes, and standards.
  • Lead or support technical operations such as audits, reliability support, investigations, process improvements, technical reviews, and projects.
  • Provide technical support in emergency response situations.
  • Identify and assess reliability issues, and prepare work packages for engineering modifications.
  • Collaborate with teams including Operations, Engineering, Projects, and third-party vendors and contractors to ensure effective installations and modifications.
Who You Are
  • A registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and immediate eligibility for registration with APEGA or EGBC.
  • At least 4 years of engineering experience, with strong knowledge of mechanical, process systems, and plant operations.
  • Deep understanding of natural gas operations and reliability programs, with experience in small-scale projects.
  • Committed to diversity, inclusion, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Adaptable and resilient.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in extreme climate conditions.
  • Travel up to 35% to support projects and operations.
