Job summary

SAIT’s Career Advancement Services is seeking a Career Advisor to support students and alumni with personalized coaching, workshops, and career readiness events. Reporting to the Manager, Career Advancement Services, you will deliver one-on-one advising and lead workshops to empower learners in achieving their career goals.

You will help learners build career success strategies, including resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, networking, and professional skills.

The Opportunity

Job classification: A5015 - Administrative Officer I

Salary range:$67,445.30 - $72,478.25. Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity.

Paid leave:3 weeks vacation per year

Reporting to the Manager, Career Advancement Services, the Career Advisor supports SAIT students and alumni in achieving their career goals through personalized coaching and expert career guidance. Leveraging current recruitment practices, industry trends, and labour market insights, the Career Advisor delivers one-on-one advising, workshops, classroom presentations, and career readiness events.

The role helps learners build career success strategies, including resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, networking, and professional skills. In partnership with Academic Chairs, instructors, and employers, the Career Advisor also fosters meaningful connections between students, alumni, and industry, helping prepare graduates for success in an evolving workforce.
