Job summary

Lifemark Physiotherapy Springborough in Calgary, AB is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team. The role requires evening availability and offers a permanent full-time position within Lifemark Health Group, Canada's premier healthcare management organization.

You will greet patients, manage intake, assist with paperwork, schedule appointments, and handle billing and insurance processes. A strong admin background and clinical environment experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinic.
• Experience in a physiotherapy or private health care clinic is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with computers and data entry.
• Flexible and adaptable to change; able to work with minimum supervision.
• Post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration or related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate intake of information for patient visits and throughout the treatment plan.
• Assist patients with completing paperwork to avoid errors.
• Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain medical records.
• Collect payments and process insurance claims.
• Complete data entry and billing for third party funders.
• Coordinate courier packages and process emails, mail and faxes.
• Provide administrative support to Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director.
