Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $36.61 - $45.73 / hour

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare patients for procedures, including electrode placement and shave prep if necessary.
  2. Gather patient information/history from various sources and enter it into the system.
  3. Monitor and analyze ECG & hemodynamics during procedures, conveying vital information to the physician.
  4. Enter data, prepare reports, and analyze recorded hemodynamics.
  5. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as physiological data monitoring systems, ACT machines, FICK machines, and defibrillators.
  6. Maintain records for the Provincial Cardiac registry (HeartIS).
  7. Assist in pulling supplies, setting up trays, and prepping patients using sterile techniques.
  8. Participate in emergency procedures like defibrillation, pacing, cardioversion, and CPR under physician direction.
  9. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience

Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology with two years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination. Eligible for registration with CACPT and/or CCI RCIS.

  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Proficiency in operating related equipment.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to perform duties.
