Zusammenfassung

Humber River Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Inpatient Cardiology Unit at Wilson Site. You will provide care for acutely ill patients, perform telemetry monitoring, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires active RN registration in Ontario, BCLS certification on hire, and preferred coronary care/telemetry experience with a pathway to Coronary Care 1 and 2 within set timelines.

Qualifikationen

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BCLS certification upon hire; exempt for HRH current employees.
• 2 years acute medical/surgical experience preferred.
• Coronary Care 1 required or commitment to obtain within 6 months of starting.
• Commitment to obtain Coronary Care 2 within 1 year.

Aufgaben

• Care of acutely ill cardio-respiratory and medical patients including ACS.
• Telemetry monitoring, care planning and coordination with team.
• Documentation of patient care using computerized systems.
• Participation in project teams or hospital committees as required.
• Resource/team leader responsibilities; preceptorship of nursing students and new staff.
