Sinai Health System is seeking a Cardiology Technician to support the Ambulatory Cardiology department at Mount Sinai Hospital.

About The Ambulatory Cardiology Department

Mount Sinai Hospital's Ambulatory Cardiology Department provides comprehensive cardiac care, specializing in advanced diagnostic and treatment services. Our dedicated team conducts approximately 550 tests monthly, serving 27 to 32 patients daily, including those with heart function issues, high-risk pregnancies, and oncology-related cardiac conditions. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technologies to support exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient Electrocardiography (ECG)
• Holter Monitor Recording
• Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Exercise Stress Testing, including GXT, GXT Cardiolite, Persantine Cardiolite, Dobutamine Stress Echo (DSE), and GXT-ECHO

Job Requirements

Mandatory

• Current registration certificate in good standing from the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists or Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
• Diploma from a recognized college in Cardiology Technologist Program
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Minimum of three years hospital experience
• Ability to operate and maintain cardiac diagnostic testing equipment

Preferred

• IV Certification (asset)
• Good knowledge of Philip’s ECG system
