Qualifications

• Must be landed immigrant or Canadian citizen at time of application.
• Graduate of medical school outside Canada/US per FAIMER IMED.
• Experience in an acute hospital-based care facility within the last 3 years.
• Preference for active acute care surgical experience within last 3 years.
• MCCQE Part I passed prior to application.
• IELTS with minimum scores of 7.0 in all components within 24 months prior to registration (CPSA).

Responsibilities

• Work within Cardiology Department at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver acute patient care.
• Operate under a limited medical license issued by CPSA.
• Shifts include Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends as per rotation.
