Job summary

CarePoint Medical & Wellness Clinics is opening a Red Deer clinic in Alberta and seeks a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership while continuing patient care. The role offers flexibility to build a patient panel, run walk-in hours, or both, with full-time or part-time scheduling.

Relocation to Red Deer or current residence in Central Alberta; you will guide clinical protocols, oversee quality, and collaborate with administrative leadership to shape the new Alberta location.

Qualifications

• MD with independent practice licensure eligibility in Alberta (CPSA).
• Clinical leadership experience supervising clinicians or multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with EMR and clinical information systems.
• Previous medical director experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care
• See patients directly, with flexibility on panel vs. walk-in
• Supervise and mentor clinicians; review and update clinical protocols
• Oversee quality improvement and monitor performance indicators
• Collaborate with administrative leadership on strategic planning
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance

We're reopening a clinic in Red Deer under new management, and looking for a Medical Director to lead it — a chance to shape healthcare delivery in a growing Alberta community, backed by an organization with three decades of proven success.

About the Role

You'll provide clinical leadership and oversight for our new Red Deer clinic while participating directly in patient care — with the flexibility to build your own patient panel, run walk-in hours, or both. Open to full-time or part-time. Relocating to Red Deer or already based in Central Alberta — either way, we want to hear from you.
