Job summary

Interior Health invites an experienced Cardiac Services Nurse to join the team at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC. The role is in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, handling admitting, recovering, scrubbing, circulating and recording diagnostic/interventional procedures to uphold high standards of patient care.

The successful RN will have Critical Care training and BC registration, with on-call requirements and a relief full-time commitment until Sept 13, 2027.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration.
• Advanced preparation in Critical Care; one year recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment.
• BCLS certification within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care.
• Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure delivery of client-centred care by assisting patients and families.
• Demonstrates a specialized body of nursing knowledge and practice.
