Procor Limited, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a skilled railcar technician in Canada. Duties include rail car repair, brake testing, general repair and welding. The position offers a fixed 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m. Compensation ranges from $26.66 to $40.41 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Applicants should be fluent in French and English, with SMAW and FCAW welding experience, knowledge of rail cars and an aptitude for industrial mechanics.

Job Summary:

Duties include: rail car repair, brake testing, general repair, welding. But may change 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The schedule is normally fixed. The salary for this position is between $26.66 and $40.41 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

• French and English written and spoken Experience in 4-position welding SMAW and FCAW Knowledge of rail cars and aptitude for industrial mechanics.
• Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces and in a noisy and dusty environment.
• Good physical condition since the work is demanding and outdoors at all times.
• Class 3 driver's license and have a good sense of direction.
• Can work in a team as well as alone.
• Manual, resourceful and easy to take initiative.
• Good judgment and stress management.
• Dedicated to working safely and professionally.
• The candidate will have to follow Procor's procedures as well as those of our customers. Safety and quality standards as well as responsible management.
• The candidate will be required to pass a medical examination and drug and alcohol test.
