Job summary

Procor Limited, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a Welder B to maintain and repair railcars across Canada. Responsibilities include welding on metal jackets, truck assembly, and following precise repair orders while upholding health and safety standards.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of welding experience and be WHMIS trained. The role requires the ability to work in potentially loud environments and at heights, with the option to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of welding experience.
• Able to pass entry level test in Flux core FCAW, 2F, 3FD, 4F on 11-gauge material.
• WHMIS trained.

Responsibilities

• Perform car repairs involving cutting and welding on the metal jacket and other car components.
• Assemble trucks, gauge and replace parts and wear components.
• Read and follow repair orders and procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety standards including Responsible Care policy.
• Maintain high quality and safety standards; work independently or in teams.
