The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a reliable Lot Attendant for the Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria location to support the Sales team by keeping inventory clean, well presented, and ready for customers.

Qualifications

• A valid BC Driver’s licence and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract required.
• Previous automotive industry experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• This is a physically active role – outdoors in all weather and on a dealership lot.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all vehicle inventory, exterior wash and interior cleaning.
• Display vehicles to create a strong first impression for customers.
• Move and relocate inventory and vehicles as needed.
• Take clear photos of pre-owned inventory and assist with online postings.
• Report any potential issues with vehicles or dealership property promptly.
• Safely use tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Support a positive and engaging work environment.

Introduction

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a reliable, energetic, and well-organized Lot Attendant to play a key support role at our Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria location. Working closely with our Sales team, you will help keep our vehicle inventory clean, professional, and well presented for our customers.

You will take pride in delivering outstanding service, paying close attention to detail, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. This position is an ideal entry point into the automotive industry, with strong opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $18.25 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Reports to: Sales Manager

A Day in the Life

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all vehicle inventory, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Display vehicles in a way that creates a strong first impression for customers
• Carefully move, arrange, and relocate inventory and customer vehicles
• Take clear, high-quality photos of pre-owned inventory and assist with posting them online
• Promptly report any potential issues with vehicles or dealership property
• Safely use tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain strict confidentiality of company and customer information
• Help foster a supportive and engaging work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• A valid BC Driver’s licence and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract are required

• This is a physically active role that involves:
  • Frequent walking throughout the dealership and lot
  • Walking or standing for extended periods
  • Regularly driving automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Washing vehicles, including handling various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
  • Spending significant time outdoors in all weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat (conditions are monitored for safety as needed)
