Location: Onsite at 3 miles South of Junction Hwy. 16 & 2, Colonsay, SK

We are currently seeking an Engineer at our Colonsay, SK location. The capital project engineer will manage projects within the department, supporting production and maintenance by working with Operations and support groups to achieve Mosaic's strategic priorities. This role primarily focuses on asset sustaining projects within chemical processing sites. Work location may vary between local sites depending on demand. Project scopes include acid processing vessels, rotating equipment, material conveyance, water management, structural steel, civil work, and equipment design and fabrication.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preliminary or detailed project scoping, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management.
2. Managing project scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and contractor relations, ensuring adherence to Mosaic's capital process.
3. Collaborating with Procurement in developing scope of works, RFQ/RFPs, evaluating bids, and reviewing invoices.
4. Technical development and coaching of contractors, trades, and trainees.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience.
2. Preference for 4+ or 8+ years of engineering experience.
3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
4. Leadership skills and experience in large industrial facilities preferred.
5. Knowledge of MS Office, Engineering software, SAP/Maximo, Fieldglass, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
6. P.Eng or EIT is a plus.

Physical and safety requirements:

• Ability to perform essential functions safely.
• Lift 0-25 lbs occasionally.
• Work at heights, climb stairs, distinguish colors, and wear a respirator as needed.
