Job summary

Canadian Solar is expanding its Capital Markets function to support financing and monetization of its growing project portfolio. The Manager will lead debt and equity financings, financial modeling, and transaction execution across manufacturing facilities and regional projects, collaborating with senior leaders.

The role requires 5–8+ years in capital markets or related fields, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and experience with cross-border transactions and 45X monetization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• MBA, CFA or similar advanced qualification is a plus.
• 5–8+ years in capital markets, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Experience executing debt and/or equity financing transactions.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and cash flow skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
• Experience with 45X tax credits monetization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage debt and equity financings for Canadian Solar and subsidiaries, including project-level financings across regions.
• Prepare financing materials, investor decks, and analyses; own project/platform financial modeling.
• Coordinate financing processes and diligence; manage data rooms and closing deliverables.
• Develop repeatable capital markets processes, templates, trackers, and data rooms.
• Maintain relationships with banks, lenders, investors, rating agencies, and advisors.
