Job summary

TMX Group is seeking a Business Analyst to join Global Enterprise Services (GES) in Canada. The role focuses on capturing and translating business needs for capital markets projects, working with users and implementation teams to deliver clear specifications and effective solutions.

You'll lead requirements sessions, document workflows, and support design, testing, and deployment. A strong sense of ownership and cross‑functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing requirements analysis across diverse business areas.
• Experience leading joint analysis and design sessions to elicit outcomes.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear specifications for technical teams.
• Experience with both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across CDS/CCMS.
• Translate business rules into actionable functional specs and configure modules.
• Collaborate with technical teams on design, configuration, and integration.
• Serve as SME during design, development, and implementation phases.
• Develop test scripts and coordinate UAT; manage defects and changes.
• Support change management and training materials for end users.
