Job summary

jobr.pro is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst in Vancouver. As a core member of the capital markets team, you will assist in executing equity and debt offerings and contribute to meaningful capital raising initiatives across various sectors.

This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts. You will gain exposure to live transactions and collaborate with investors and partners. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an anticipated graduation between July and December 2027.

  • Strong academic performance; relevant experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of equity and debt offerings.
  • Prepare client-ready presentations and marketing materials.
  • Perform research and monitor daily market developments.
  • Provide client and market analysis and prepare reports.
  • Build, audit, and maintain financial models.

As a core member of the capital markets team, your work will directly impact clients, investors, and our broader mission.

Role overview

  • Supporting the execution of equity and debt offerings, private placements, and related capital markets transactions
  • Preparing client-ready presentations and marketing materials
  • Performing company, sector, and market research; monitoring daily market developments and investor sentiment
  • Providing client and market analysis, preparing reports and presenting findings
  • Building, auditing, and maintaining financial models
  • Maintaining internal coverage materials and transaction databases
  • Collaborating with partners, external counsel, and syndicate relationships to facilitate smooth execution

Your Skills and Experience
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in accounting, finance, commerce/business, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
  • Anticipated graduation date between July 2027 and December 2027
  • Strong academic performance; relevant internships, projects, or competitions are an asset
  • Exceptional analytical ability and attention to detail; advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to concisely communicate complex concepts and ideas verbally and in writing
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
