We’re looking for a Capital Account Executive to join our GTM Financial Services Team in NoAM. You will manage a book of retail customers, supporting their growth and operations through our Financial services offerings.

As part of our growth, we are rolling out a focused strategy on financial services. Capital Account Executives are key in executing our acquisition tactics, responsible for business development within your territory to drive awareness and adoption of Lightspeed Capital in the SMB segment.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote our financial services;
  • Provide high levels of service and use sales techniques to promote Lightspeed Capital to merchants;
  • Build trusted advisor relationships and identify financial service opportunities within your book;
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to grow your book;
  • Achieve sales targets by advising merchants and coordinating with Account Management to maximize opportunities;
  • Employ business development and relationship management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets;
  • Provide feedback and represent merchants' voice to business leaders.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Sales experience, preferably in financial services, with a strong performance record;
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in SaaS;
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other tools to manage pipelines;
  • A culture of positivity and high performance;
  • Enjoyment of exceeding targets;
  • Professional poise with executives;
  • Valuing feedback and continuous learning;
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation;
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing partnerships.

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Experience in Banking and Financial Services;
  • Fluency in French.
