Job summary

High Tide Inc. (Canna Cabana) seeks Part-Time Sales Associates to join our cannabis retail team. You will greet customers, explain product details, and ensure inventory accuracy while delivering excellent service.

This role supports store operation across shifts, including evenings and weekends, to help maximize store sales and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have SellSafe certification, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in cannabis products.

Qualifications

• Must have valid SellSafe Certification
• Post Secondary degree / diploma preferred
• A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
• Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations
• Experience in sales and customer service preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player mentality
• Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
• Passion and excitement for cannabis and all of its derivatives
• Desire to educate customers and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use without giving medical advise

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services required
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
• Adapt communication style to deliver information effectively
• Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity
• Calm irate customers and resolve issues to the best of your ability
• Take orders from customers and prepare products for purchase
• Ensure customer satisfaction with issue resolution and process
• Assist with display of merchandise
• Assist with inventory management
• Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures
• Participate in all manner of store maintenance
• Prepare merchandise for purchase
• Work with management and other employees to maximize store sales
• Answer external and internal phone calls and transfer to the Store Manager
• Adhere to health, safety, and security regulations
• Available to work any shift
• General housekeeping of store spaces
• ID customers as required by Cannabis Retail Store Handbook
• Abide by all company policies and procedures as directed by Store/Assistant Managers
