BBA Consultants is seeking a capable engineer to join its mechanical team in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec. You’ll engage in risk analysis, dust management, ventilation systems, and fire protection for heavy industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Advanced English and French skills for collaboration with offices/clients.
• Willingness to travel for short- and medium-term trips outside the office.
• Experience in project management, cost estimates, technical report writing, and troubleshooting.
• Asset: knowledge of NFPA, ATEX, CSA, IEC and CNPI standards.
• Asset: experience in the industrial sector.
• Asset: ASPConstruction card.

Type of position: Regular

You’ll joinour Mechanical team specializing in explosivedust management, dust collection and industrial ventilation. In this role,you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of situations in which to develop yourtechnical and professional skills. You’ll be involved in projects dealing with dustmanagement and associated risks, including risk analysis, dust collectionsystems and fire protection in the heavy industry sector.

As anengineer, you’ll be involved in all phases of projects, including riskanalysis, engineering, technological choices and solution implementation.You’ll help identify business opportunities and prepare proposals in a varietyof industrial sectors, such as wood, mining, energy and heavy industry. As youprogress, you’ll start to take on technical and project managementresponsibilities and work to build lasting relationships with our clients.
