Canadian Treads - Computer-Aided Production Technician
Ingersoll, Ontario

Canadian Treads, an innovative leader in tire repurposing, specializes in retreading commercial truck tires through a precise, multi-step process that combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology to extend the life of the commercial truck tires. We are currently seeking Computer-Aided Production Technicians to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role is ideal for motivated individuals who are proficient with hand tools, comfortable using digital systems, and capable of adapting to various stages of the production process. • Use computerized terminals various production stations to access customer specifications, operator process machines and input production data
• Inspect tires for debris and damage
• Operate hand tools and machines to complete the retreading process
• Inspect, identify and remove damage, repair, apply tread, prep for processing, use vulcanization technology and complete quality checks of tires in process
• Move large commercial truck tires (30–50 lbs) safely and efficiently
• Rotate between workstations throughout the day depending on production needs
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and workplace procedures

Qualifications
