Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Retail Security Guard in Canada to monitor surveillance, respond to incidents, and patrol premises to keep environments such as security operation centres, parking lots, and gatehouses safe.

We offer an hourly wage of 21 CAD, training through GardaWorld Academy, flexible schedules, and career growth with uniform provided. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with relevant licenses and first aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification.
• Full Class 5 Driver's License.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
