About The Opportunity

• Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in English to help train generative artificial intelligence models.

Your Contributions

• Reading Canadian English text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
• Writing short stories in English on given topics.
• Assessing whether AI-generated English text is factually accurate.

Desired Expertise

• Experience as a professional translator.
• Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in humanities or related fields.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program in creative writing.

Payment

• Pay rates for core project work typically range from USD $15.00 to $35.00 per hour.
• Rates depend on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered for PhDs. During initial onboarding or overtime phases, lower rates may apply. Some projects include incentive payments.
