Job summary

Xylem Water Solutions Netherlands is seeking a Field Service Technician to deploy and support pipeline inspection technologies across Canada. The role is hybrid with Mississauga or Montreal locations and involves hands-on field work, travel, and collaboration with utilities and municipalities.

You will service water and wastewater infrastructure, read technical drawings, and work with experienced colleagues to ensure safety and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technologist diploma is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and field-mechanic skills are essential.
• Ability to read schematics, maps, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and recover pipeline inspection tech.
• Support field projects on water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and field issues.
• Read maps, drawings, and technical docs.
• Assist Senior Technicians in planning and coordination.
• Lead daily safety meetings and on-site planning.
• Document activities, reports, timesheets, expenses.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, municipalities.
