Job summary

Motion is seeking a Canada Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for Canadian employees from Nepean, ON. You will ensure accuracy, CRA and provincial regulatory compliance, and coordinate with HR, Finance and external vendors to ensure timely payroll processing. Strong Workday experience and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities include ROEs, year-end filings, garnishments, benefits, and audits, with a focus on process improvements and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, HR or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, tax rules and regulatory reporting.
• Experience handling high-volume, multi-entity payroll environments.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for Canadian employees, including timekeeping, pay codes, and deductions.
• Manage ROEs in compliance with Service Canada requirements and year-end filings.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and external vendors to ensure accuracy and timely payroll processing.
• Audit payroll data and support audits, ensuring compliance and documentation.
