Job summary

Elia Grid International (EGI) invites applications for Engagement Manager Canada to drive growth and client engagement in the Canadian market. The role combines market development with leadership of opportunities across Canada's provincially structured electricity sector.

The successful candidate will build trusted relationships with utilities, system operators, regulators, governments, Indigenous organizations, developers and investors, while positioning EGI’s expertise in grid modernization

Qualifications

Master's degree with 10+ years in energy, infrastructure or management consulting.
Significant client-facing and/or business-development responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of the Canadian electricity sector and an established professional network.
Proven ability to engage senior executives and convert strategic opportunities into consulting assignments.

Responsibilities

Strategic Engagement and Thought Leadership: cultivate relationships with senior executives across Canadian utilities and regulators.
Opportunity Identification and Business Development: develop Canada market strategy and opportunity pipeline.
Contract Negotiation and Deal Closure: drive negotiations and oversee deal lifecycle.
Partnership and Team Collaboration: build ecosystems with Canadian engineering firms and Indigenous/local partners.
