Job summary

Sodexo Canada Ltd is seeking a Manager, Canada Controllership to lead close, governance and audit readiness from the Etobicoke office, with two days in the office weekly. You will partner with Tax, Operations and NORAM Internal Control to strengthen financial governance across Canada.

The role covers balance sheet governance, tax support, audit coordination and process improvements, with a hands-on field and office presence to enable timely closures and issue remediation.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 5–7 years finance experience with controllership and audit exposure.
• Experience with Canadian tax compliance and audits preferred.
• ERP experience; SAP preferred and strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Canada HQ month-end close and reporting.
• Lead site audits, risk-based reviews and remediation.
• Support Canadian tax compliance and CRA inquiries.
• Improve SG&A budgeting, forecasting and process efficiency.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide documentation.
