Job summary

Sodexo Canada Ltd is seeking a Manager, Canada Controllership (Accounting, Tax & Controls) to lead close, balance-sheet governance and audit readiness from the Etobicoke office. The role partners with Tax, Operations and NORAM Internal Control to ensure strong financial governance and remediation.

CPA designation and 5–7 years of progressive finance experience are required, with advanced Excel and SAP knowledge. Expect regional tax support and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required for this role.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive finance experience in controllership, financial reporting or audit support.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities.
• Working knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Canada/HQ month-end and year-end close activities with strong balance-sheet governance.
• Lead site controls, audits, remediation and documentation.
• Support Canadian tax compliance including GST/HST and corporate income tax processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests and evidence collection.
