Job summary

Walmart Canada in Smiths Falls, ON is seeking an Overnight Stocking Team Lead to help drive department processes, respond to issues, and coach associates through teaching and training.

You will plan department activities, perform daily audits, lead the team huddle, monitor safety, and support recruiting and onboarding while working with the Store Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and coordination of task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assesses overall presentation of store departments and appearance, notes deficiencies, and executes merchandising display changes as required.
• Ensures strong communication with associates; leads daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift; provides updates, sets goals, and tracks productivity.
• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is secured; all doors and lockups are secured when not in use; completes daily audits as per program.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with Coach and team to validate and identify training opportunities; develops associates through teaching and training with feedback.
• Contributes to a safe, clean, hazard-free work environment; adheres to policy and completes safety sweep logs; ensures displays and fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations; supports recruiting and onboarding of new associates.

Position Summary

What you'll do...

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.20.
