Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an overnight stocking leader to help direct department tasks and train associates at the Pointe-Claire location. You will coordinate priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management, monitor display standards, and lead daily huddles to share updates and goals.

Role includes safeguarding high-value items, conducting audits, reviewing schedules with the People Lead, and driving a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

Position Summary…

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
