Leads the overall strategic direction and implementation of Walmart Canada’s Internal and External communications across multiple channels (Internal associate communications, Executive communications, public and media relations, thought leadership, issues management, and digital communications) to help strengthen the company’s reputation and achieve its operational and corporate goals. Reports directly to the VP Communications and Corporate Affairs and directly supports the Canadian Leadership Team to provide guidance and manage high-profile, highly sensitive information and issues to protect the company from reputational damage.
