Job summary

Walmart Canada in Scarborough, ON is seeking an Over-the-Counter Associate to help customers, zone the OTC area, and support the Pharmacy team. You will maintain privacy, ensure accurate pricing, and keep the workspace clean and organized.

You will rotate stock, follow procedures for ordering and labeling, and assist with calibration of equipment used in prescription filling while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Age 16 years or older.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Willingness to follow department procedures and pricing labeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the OTC area and keep the space zoned and presentable.
• Follow directions from Pharmacy Manager and OTC Department Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy practices.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Follow ordering, pricing, labeling procedures and signage practices.
• Keep the area clean, with no debris or liquids.
• Ensure zero pricing errors during scanning and pricing checks.
• Calibrate equipment used in prescription filling process as needed.

Position Summary...A Over-the-Counter Associate assists customers, properly zones his/her assigned area, performs tasks delegated by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager and maintains modular and feature presentation, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the Basic Beliefs and values of Wal-Mart.What you'll do...1. Maintaining patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.2. Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.3. Rotating stock and checking for expired products.4. Zoning the department.5. Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.6.
