Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Mississauga, ON is seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright to repair and maintain automated warehouse systems and equipment. You will work on conveyor systems, HVAC, fire safety devices, and power systems to ensure continuous operation.

The role requires strong lock out/tag out knowledge, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to health and safety standards in a unionized environment. Potential for growth within a large retail logistics network.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures.
• Blueprint interpretation: electrical, mechanical, and structural.
• Experience with HVAC, fire alarm, and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair building equipment including conveyor system, hydrogen system HVAC units, garbage compacting equipment, fire doors, emergency generator, and fire pumps.
• Repair material handling equipment including overhead doors, dock plates, trailer restraints, battery chargers, and battery change equipment.
• Interpret blueprints for electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Promote Health and Safety in a team environment.
• Follow procedures and policies established by equipment manufacturers.
• Comply with provincial laws, training, and company procedures.
• Maintain adherence to lock out/tag out procedures.
• Maintain productivity and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, construction and installation of warehouse facilities including electrical, mechanical, building automation, HVAC, fire alarm, and UPS systems.This is a union represented position.What you'll do...1.
