Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an entry to mid-level leader to assist in the leadership of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates. The role partners with the GM/Fashion Assistant Manager and Store Management to ensure high customer service and efficient task completion.

The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of CAD 19.75, with opportunities to contribute to scheduling, coverage, coaching, and safe, clean store conditions. Primary location: Camrose, AB.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, assisting with products/services, locating merchandise and aiding purchase decisions, resolving issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Assists in directing and coordinating task completion as per priorities from the GM & Fashion Assistant Manager and Store Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of General Merchandise and Fashion Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
• Support with scheduling as needed.
• Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
• Participates in the training and development of the General Merchandise and Fashion Associates, and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including safety sweep logs and ensuring displays/fixtures are secure and debris-free.

Position Summary…

To assist in the leadership of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates and department processes through partnership with the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service and while ensuring task completion.

• Job Responsibility #1 Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Job Responsibility #2 Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
