Position Summary

Working as a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada offers an opportunity to develop retail skills. The role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining and organizing the merchandise area, and assisting with stocking and sales. What you'll do

1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and referring concerns as needed.
2. Cover assigned areas on the sales floor.
3. Zone the assigned areas.
4. Move feature merchandise to designated locations.
5. Recover merchandise from various store areas.
6. Assist with front-end coverage.
7. Communicate with team members to ensure floor coverage.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following policies and completing safety logs.
9. Stock merchandise, downstock if applicable, and apply product protection when required. Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps.

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.55 per hour, with the actual rate determined by relevant experience.
