Position Summary: The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care tailored to each patient based on feedback received during consultation or file review.

What you'll do:

1. Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
2. Establish and develop a strong working relationship with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
3. Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
4. Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
5. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
6. Execute processes according to Walmart's SOPs and best practices.
7. Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.) and maintain patient privacy following provincial regulations.
8. Ensure patients receive all eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet their needs.
9. Keep the pharmacy open and operational during posted hours.
10. Assist in executing the business action plan in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager to meet corporate goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older
• Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
