Job summary

Walmart Laval is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to greet shoppers, handle transactions, and promote services. You will support the checkout area, assist with bagging, and ensure a clean, safe store environment.

The role involves guiding customers to self-checkout, handling cash with care, and referring questions to a supervisor when needed. Candidates must be 16 or older and ready for a fast-paced team setting in a retail store.

• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings..
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
