Walmart Canada in Brandon, MB is seeking a friendly Front End Associate to greet customers and efficiently process purchases while promoting credit card services, product protection and charity programs. You will assist with bagging and loading, maintain a safe, clean workspace, and uphold cash-handling integrity.

As part of daily operations, you will educate customers on self-checkout usage and refer complex items to a Customer Service Manager when needed.

• Processes all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings..
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
