Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Toronto is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area and assisting with stocking and sale of goods.

The role involves zoning the department, rotating stock, checking expirations, signing and pricing merchandise, and following cold chain and food safety procedures. This is a full-time position including weekends with hours 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

• Age – 16 or older.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Store Availability Requirement is Full time including weekends. Store operation hours is 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
