Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Burlington, ON is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide excellent customer service while stocking and organizing the food and consumables area, including dry grocery and dairy sections.

The role includes rotating stock, ensuring correct signage and prices, and following cold-chain and expiry date procedures. Minimum age is 16+. Minimum pay starts at CAD 17.75 per hour.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.

• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
