Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate in Thompson, MB to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining and stocking the food and consumables area.

The role includes rotating stock, ensuring correct signage and pricing, and following strict cold chain and food-handling procedures to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
