Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp. is hiring a Food and Consumables Associate in Miramichi, NB. You will provide customer service while maintaining and zoning the food and consumables area and assist with stocking and product sales.

You will zone departments, rotate stock, ensure correct signing and pricing, and follow cold chain and food safety procedures. The role starts at a minimum hourly rate with opportunities to grow as part of a large retailer.

• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.

• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
