Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Charlottetown, PEI is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exemplary customer service, zone the food and consumables area, and assist with stocking and selling goods.

You will rotate stock, check expiration dates, ensure signage and pricing are correct, and follow cold chain, thermometer calibrations, temperature logging, and labeling procedures. Minimum wage starts at CAD 17.15 per hour.

What you'll do

1. Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
2. Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
3. Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates
5. Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
