Job summary

Walmart Canada in Calgary, AB is seeking an order picker to accurately pick and prepare orders, stock replenishment, and support internal customer requirements. You will typically operate in the Put/Pick area using an order picker, with opportunities to handle Breakpack freight and maintain clean, safe work practices.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, steel-toed footwear from day one, and adherence to safety policies and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Steel-toed safety shoes/boots required from day one
• Additional safety PPE may be provided as needed

• Picking Staple Stock/Breakpack freight on an order picker

• Follow Breakpack order filling policies and procedures
• Maintain safety, health, and housekeeping programs per policy and law compliance

Responsible for the preparation and picking of orders that are less than full case.

What You'll Do

• Picking Staple Stock/Breakpack freight on an order picker
• Picking orders in the Put/Pick area, ensuring quality, quantity and supporting internal customer requirements
• Stock replenishing and restocking of inventory/product
• May be required to operation Material Handling Equipment (MHE) while performing duties.
• Maintain order filling performance expectation of the job function while maintaining picking accuracy.
• Adhering to all Breakpack Order filling policies and procedures.
• Maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to have steel toed safety shoes/boots for first day.
• Other safety personal protective gear may be required as appropriate and will be provided.
