Job summary

Walmart Canada in Calgary is seeking a warehouse picker to prepare and pick full case orders for shipment. You will pick orders directly to conveyer lines or pallets, and may operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining picking accuracy, replenishing pallets, and adhering to all safety, health, and housekeeping policies to ensure compliance with regulations and company policy.

Qualifications

• Age – 18 or older
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Safety footwear (steel-toed) required on first day; PPE provided as needed.

• Pick full case orders directly to conveyor line or pallet/cart for shipping.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as required.
• Put away pallets into racking and replenish picking primes.
• Maintain order filling performance and picking accuracy.
• Follow Casepack Order filling policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety, health, and housekeeping procedures in line with company policy.

Position Summary...

Responsible for the preparation and picking of full case orders.

What You'll Do...

• Required to pick orders directly to conveyor line or to a pallet/cart with the purpose of being conveyed to shipping.
• May be required to operation Material Handling Equipment (MHE) while performing duties.
• Put away pallets into racking slots and replenish full pallets into picking primes.
• Maintain order filling performance expectation of the job function while maintaining picking accuracy.
• Adhering to all Casepack Order filling policies and procedures.
• Maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to have steel toed safety shoes/boots for first day.
• Other safety personal protective gear may be required as appropriate and will be provided.

The rate of pay for this position starts from $26.40/hr.
