Walmart is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate in Vaughan, Canada to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the Bakery and Deli areas. The role involves stocking, zones management, and assisting with sale of goods.

The position requires handling deli and bakery items, following strict food safety guidelines, and ensuring accurate signage and pricing. Compensation starts at CAD 18.40 per hour.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Position Summary
