Walmart is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining the Bakery and Deli areas. You will rotate stock, ensure correct pricing, and assist with hot food orders and display preparation. Adherence to food safety and cold chain standards is required.

Responsibilities include preparing deli and bakery items, stocking shelves, and following sign/labeling procedures. The role starts at a minimum pay rate of $18.40 per hour and may involve additional duties

• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Position Summary

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What you'll do
