Walmart Inc. in Burlington, ON seeks a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver excellent customer service, maintain and zone the Bakery/Deli area, and assist with stocking and selling goods.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, checking expiry, signing and pricing, following cold chain and safety standards, taking deli orders, preparing hot foods and bakery items per guidelines, and upholding store policies.

• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Position Summary
